LAURENCESTRATEGIC ADVISORY

Grow. Scale. Raise.

Strategic advisory for founders, fund managers, and investors at the moments that decide what comes next.

Why LAURENCE

Three perspectives. One strategic advantage.

LAURENCE brings together three perspectives: the operator, the advisor, and the investor. Each informs how we approach growth, partnerships, and capital.

01

The operator

We've been in the founder's seat. Building teams, forming partnerships, opening new channels, raising capital, and making the difficult decisions that come with growing a business.

02

The advisor

We've worked alongside sophisticated investors and capital allocators, understanding how they evaluate opportunities, build relationships, and make decisions.

03

The investor

We've worked inside venture capital, connecting businesses with investment capital and understanding what matters on both sides of the table.

What we do

Three practices. One conversation.

Each practice stands on its own. Most clients draw on more than one.

Find the next stage of growth—and the relationships to get there.

  • Growth strategy and go-to-market
  • Strategic partnerships and distribution
  • Business development and commercial introductions
02 · Capital strategy

Make better capital decisions, informed by how investors actually decide.

  • Capital strategy and fundraising readiness
  • Investor and LP positioning for companies and funds
  • Board and diligence preparation

Invest alongside the companies and partners we know best.

  • Principal and direct investments
  • Co-investments and SPVs
  • Shared privately with existing relationships

How we work

Two ways to work together.

Most relationships begin with a focused challenge, and develop into ongoing partnerships.

Fixed scope

Strategic projects

Focused engagements with clear objectives and tangible deliverables.

  • Go-to-market and market-entry strategy
  • Partnership strategy and commercial opportunity mapping
  • Capital readiness and investor or LP positioning
Monthly engagement

Ongoing advisory

An experienced strategic partner working alongside founders, leadership teams, GPs, and investors.

  • Growth and commercial strategy
  • Strategic partnerships and business development
  • Capital strategy, fundraising, and board preparation
  • Select board and strategic advisor roles, by invitation
Our point of view

Growth and capital move together.

The partnerships a company builds shape how investors see it. The capital it raises shapes what it can build next. The same is true for funds: the portfolio a manager builds shapes the LPs it attracts.

We help clients make these decisions together.
